So, “white night” wasn’t really what I expected, although I guess I probably could have done some more planning if I really wanted to go to specific things. I guess I though it would be more.. street fair like or something with more stuff to see in the streets. Instead it was mostly TONS of people wandering around the city and being really loud and drunk and smelly, trying to go to a few things here and there. I’ve also realized that large crowds and groups of people make me feel very uncomfortable and awkward. I ended taking the hour long walk home on my own cause the busses were all weird, and got back around 3 am.
I always feel kinda lame about not really wanting to go out and about exploring more of the nightlife or whatever, but at the same time I’ve realized I really don’t get any satisfaction out of it when I do. But a lot of people seem to like it, so I think maybe I just have different priorities.
In other news… we had some tasty Indian food here. I’m looking forward to my Quizno’s steak sandwich when I return.
