You've got some good goals there, I hope you've managed to achieve some of them. I am also a motion graphic designer who sits at a computer AT LEAST 40 hours a week. Then of course, there's the personal work at home... so more sitting down!

Is it possible for you to cycle to work? I have been cycling for 6 months now and it's brilliant because it cuts out the gym and you exercise twice a day. I don't know how hilly your uphill walk is.... cycling uphill can be tough, but cycling downhill is obviously loads of fun. I cycle in central London and it's not too scary ;) I love eating too, and my biggest change was to cut out sugars and reduce my portion sizes. That showed me a big difference in my weight! I have a killer sweet tooth, I had to wean myself off the sugar as I suspect I may be addicted ;)

Yeah, I'd say I'm doing moderately well. I'm at least back to my baseline 145. I have been walking to work on most days. And I've been going to my pilates class. But the 20 min of cardio just isn't happening these past few weeks. It's hard to bring myself to work out when I'm getting back from work at 11 pm. And food wise I've been sort of good. The good thing about being busy is that i sort of forget to snack on stuff. But I have been falling for the girl scout cookies and creamsicles at work lately... I should probably back off those again. We have a wii fit too, but I haven't used it much in the past few months aside from weighing in on it occassionaly.

it's been a month since you posted that... are you doing well with your goals? i find that i always try to set "more exercise, eat less" goals and write these long lists and never manage to do it. &#62;_&#60;  i told my bf about it though, and he's actually making me stick to it. we also have a wii fit, so we're running and doing that.
